PrintThe Well Outreach Food Pantry began as a food pantry in a local church in 2006, with the goal to meet the needs within the community and has continued to be very supportive of its ministry.

Numerous other congregations, organizations, businesses and individuals have joined forces to make The Well a truly community-driven effort.

Their mission continues to be “to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving those in need through supporting spiritual, emotional and physical growth.” There goals for our community include reaching out to the Spanish-speaking community and exploring additional ways to meet the food assistance needs of the elderly in our community.

FullSizeRenderThe Spring Hill Pay It Forward Festival is proud to partner every year with The Well Outreach to help gather food donations for the festival ADMISSION.

It’s a free event but this is an opportunity for the community to join in with all those who make the festival possible and Pay It Forward  thorough donating non-perishable food items upon the entrance to the festival.

Our theme is:
“LIVE FORWARD * GIVE FORWARD * PAY IT FORWARD” with the emphases on the importance and benefits of living well and giving well and what our community has to offer now to achieve this healthy/fun lifestyle.

We are asking for the community to bring foods for the Well Outreach Summer Kids’ Shelf by filling it with nutritious individual-sized items. They feed LOTS of kids during the Summer with this program which is similar to of backpack program, JetPacks, that helps feed kids on the weekends during the school year.

Our goal is to gather 3000 pounds of food this year at the festival and we ask our community to come out BIG and PAY IT FORWARD to the Well Outreach! They also can take monetary donations!

Here is what they need to fill their shelves:

  • Fruit Cups
  • Jello Cups
  • Applesauce Cups
  • Individual Cereal Boxes
  • Granola Bars
  • Raisins
  • Individual Milk Boxes
  • Individual Juice Boxes
